About / Me

I am a graphic designer / web developer with over 8 years experience in the industry. I have developed a broad range of skills over that time an in depth working knowledge of Adobe; Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Fontographer, Freehand, and last yet not least QuarkXpress. And the ability to work with colleagues and clients inj creative, yet practical partnerships.

All of my practical knowledge is based on commercial experience. I have worked extensively as a freelancer producing identities/logos, print and web materials for charities, small businesses and the creative sector (Moving Target films an up and coming film production company ). My freelance experience is combined with experience of working as a designer for three different companies in London and Leeds. I have also worked within a firm of printers working with screen, pad and emboss processes, an invaluable experience for a designer and one which has added to my ability to see a project through from beginning to end

As well as having a passion for creative websites that meet the need of clients, I have developed a keen interest in accessibility in design for both print and screen mediums. An issue which I think is increasingly relevant today.

Most recently whilst working at infoserve I built a variety of websites and developed the companies own intranet. I was responsible for producing print materials and also planned and implemented a highly regarded training course for colleagues.
